One Shot is an international editorial photography project open to photographers from all over the world, with no limits of genre, style, or background.
The concept is radical in its simplicity.
Each photographer is invited to submit one single photograph.
The best one they believe they have ever taken.
Not the most awarded.
Not the most published.
Not the most commercial.
But the image that truly represents their vision.
What we are looking for
We are looking for strong, meaningful, personal photographs.
Images that carry a point of view.
Images that stay in the mind.
Images that matter to the photographer who created them.
There are no genre restrictions.
Street photography, documentary, portrait, fashion, fine art, landscape, conceptual, still life, experimental — all approaches are welcome.
Only one rule:
submit only one photograph.
Technical requirements
• One photograph per photographer
• Maximum resolution of the camera
• 300 dpi
• JPEG or TIFF format
• No watermarks
• No borders
• No signatures on the image
The file must be ready for high-quality print reproduction.
Selection & Publication
All submissions will be reviewed by Alex Coghe.
A curated selection will be published in:
• a digital e-book
• a printed photobook
Each selected photograph will be accompanied by a personal critical analysis written by the curator.
The text will not be a technical review, but a visual, narrative and conceptual interpretation of the image.

It is not a competition.
There are no rankings or prizes.
It is an editorial project.
A curated archive of contemporary photographic visions.
A collective book built from individual voices.
