The last month of the year with my street shots

PHOTOS

There is so much of my photographer attitude in this simple shot. It is based on the idea of imperfection and so filmy here that it is a proof that film photography is first of all a mindset that is not turned off when i shoot digital.

Layering is not just about working the scene. I can recognize a scene with layers in few seconds. Maybe shooting while walking just like this photo.

It is a pure Mexican shot. And I didon’t even kill anyone here.

Jeff Mermelstein comes to my mind. An out of focus that works.

Using the flare and the smoke present on the scene.

Yes, it is underexposed. But the gods of photography helped me on this. Because it works fine in my opinion.

On the same day, while I was busy teaching a workshop, I took these three photos. I don't think I've ever taken three decent photos during a workshop, because my attention is obviously focused on the student.

THOUGHTS

Not a bad month. I realized some things that will make the basement for the future of my photography. I can see now a direction where I want to move my visual proposal.
