Street Photography @ Lagunilla with Canon Rebel T7

I am more and more satisfied with my Canon Rebel T7 and the results I can achieve. Watch this video:

As I say in the introduction, consider the video as a short example of a few continuous minutes to bring to life the experience of photographing in an antiques market. It is not the best of what I made that day.

To photograph with a Canon DSLR I stopped to worry about batteries and also that annoying problem of Fujifilm cameras turning on randomly. Shooting now with an entry level DSLR allows me to go into popular barrios without any problems. And be sure you have good quality images.

My Canon Rebel T7 with the 24mm f2.8 mounted is light and is not perceived by people as intrusive and that is key for street photography. Keep in mind that the photos taken in the video were taken holding the camera with one hand and the action camera with the other. And despite that I achieved to be invisible most of the time. Currently I am photographing in shutter speed priority (Tv) and the camera is always ready. Based on the triangle exposure system I choose the ISO and the Shutter speed leaving to the camera the choice of the aperture. It works fine.

I think I am showing - again - that is not the camera but the photographer. Guys, don’t listen the marketing sirens and just choose what can work better for your photography.
