Video: MEXICO CITY STATE OF MIND invitation to support the project

New video on my YouTube channel:

While in the first issue of the magazine I propose the documentation in my own way of the celebrations in honor of San Judas Tadeo, I share with you the idea that the magazine was born above all with the intent to show my vision. That state of mind in the title is a declaration of intent of what the heart of the project will be like, centered on a personal interpretation rather than on offering a faithful document of the city where I live. Hence the street photography soul of a project that wants to be something different. Look this photo:

It is not a sweet photo of a little girl but rather something different, if we want even creepy. Punctual a video of Stephen Leslie arrived:

Extremely brilliant in his examination Leslie also offered me food for thought. This year I had decided to go and photograph how people lived here dia de muertos. Yet between personal nervousness and an inevitable comparison with Oaxaca made me desist from any intent. Let's face it: what you will see will be a Halloween parade, with people in masks. And to me, photographing people in disguise, honestly, is no longer good: it is terribly boring. What to do? Repeat what everyone does? Continue to take the photos that everyone expects? What can I add to this stream of photos all the same that repeat themselves in an endless stream?

Judge it as you like: a loss of enthusiasm. Or rather a correct personal reflection of what I expect from my photography, which first of all wants to deviate from everything that others do. Perhaps a public declaration of my fragility. But I want and ask for more of myself. Because never like this year I have done so much street photography. And never like this year there have been changes, evolutions, second thoughts, frustrations, anger, enthusiasm.

And then it is right. Yes, it is right that I question everything, trying to overcome my limits, trying to test where I can go and what I can dare.

Guys, please go to check out the project page. I am sure you will love it:
