The firstissue of the year for our street photography magazine

Here is a photo taken yesterday, a selfie, before starting my day as a street photographer.

With Canon announcing that it will no longer produce DSLRs in the future (the line will end with the EOS-1D X Mark III) we move on to the future but are we so sure that this is good?

In the separation within the frame, I feed a perception of the visual message that tends to create two images in one.

Platforms like facebook and instagram are not builded for photographers. strkng is a social media focused on photography.

Not a post for those obsessed with perfection…

Street photography has always reflected the human and therefore social condition.

Street Photography calls guys!!! I am so happy to invite you to my Mexico City Street Photography Experience that will take place in my city on March.

Now that it's all a lot of talk about what's real and what's not, I suggest: experience the city and you'll find the answer.

But I still love taking these pictures. It appears as a trademark. Maybe a day I will decide to make a book with these photos.

How many times have we read this on various blogs, on visitor-grabbing decalogues and even repeated in many workshops? It is time to question this widespread belief.

I reflected about the opportunity to publish it here. Because this blog is focused on photography.

First of all: after years of being fairly bland and inactive here in Mexico, I started exercising again: I ride a bike, I train with weights, I do some boxing. I take care of my diet and keep my immune system happy and therefore responsive. And what does all this have to do with street photography? Let me explain.
