A few days ago on this blog I wrote that street photography is not a genre but rather it is the essence of an experience and a preference for what we do and who we are.

There is a photographer who shoots in an instant. From that instinctive recognition, from that solicitation that the speed of the action on the street sees the sign of what the metropolis is.

Those who have known me in recent years will be surprised by the photos featured in this book. But Ricoh - The Book will be appreciated by those in love with Japanese photography.

There is a secret that is not even a secret. Many people ask me how to get famous and respected in the international street photography community. And my answer is always the same.

I know how much photographers with Ricoh cameras love the Positive film simulation. OK…and those not working with a Ricoh GR camera? This is the reason why I decided to realize these presets. Now you color street photography will be more pushed!

Photography takes me to that dimension that is otherwise unattainable. Humans as a spirit presence. Through layers of different dimensions from mere existence. My street photography speaks to my deepest.

Street photography represents my intent as an artist. This is what I do every day and without direct remuneration. It can be said that I respond to a need, an inner drive that leads me to find myself in the street with a camera, approaching people.

Newcomers to the world of street photography don't know this, but there was a time when you could be discriminated against for a technique used.

In 2009 I created the first real street photography community through a board as was the custom at the time. With social media everything has changed. And everything is still evolving rapidly. While the time for collectives seems to be over I am proposing something different.

All over the years I met a lot of photographers. And I worked side by side with various colleagues. I can say that too many pose as photographers. I've never done it and hence my choices are different.
