Street Photography in a neighborhood for the rich
Polanco is a neighborhood of Mexico City, belonging to the Miguel Hidalgo delegation. In Polanco there is Mazarik Ave., considered one of the richest streets in the world, because there you find the stores of Fendi, Rolex, Ferragamo, Prada, Dolce & Gabbana and all the most known brands of luxury. In yesterday's photos I tried to tell you about it.

To be a presence on the streets
I'm usually a lone wolf, like any good street photographer. But I am aware that my presence with a camera arouses reactions for the simple fact of being there, in the place. I am a metropolitan photographer who does not hide and am open to the world.

Why Ricoh GR will be my next camera for Street Photography
On the first episode of the Street Photography Show I declared that I want a Ricoh GR III and I am ready to sell the F. XPro2 to get it. Now I explain my reasons.

The maturation process on our photography
Analyzing what I do and the maturing process of my photography and my visions allows me to better understand who I am as a photographer and where I am going.

In 2014 my photography was different and Michael Ernest Sweet wrote this about my vision
As I said I am preparing a book with the photos made with the Ricoh GRD IV in 2014. And here I want to propose you the foreword written by Michael Ernest Sweet on Nasty, a book published several years ago.

Elegy of shooting from the hip
Newcomers to the world of street photography don't know this, but there was a time when you could be discriminated against for a technique used.

How this blog is building a community of street photographers
In 2009 I created the first real street photography community through a board as was the custom at the time. With social media everything has changed. And everything is still evolving rapidly. While the time for collectives seems to be over I am proposing something different.

When you don't care about appearance, you are a different photographer
All over the years I met a lot of photographers. And I worked side by side with various colleagues. I can say that too many pose as photographers. I've never done it and hence my choices are different.

2 Days Downtown
I share a selection of photos taken in two days. Street Photography is what I do most of the time. And as a blogger, sharing with my readers is a pleasure.

Photographs that keep faith with myself
In the street, I don't look for didactic photography. And in the essence of being in the place I can find moments that at least to me may seem interesting. Without pretension they are for everyone.

Street Shooter Brandon Kim
Hi, I'm Brandon, a Seoul-born, Melbourne-based street & documentary photographer. After studying and working in the architecture and graphic design field for many years, I finally quit in 2017 to focus exclusively on photography.

The dimension of the humanist approach in street photography
Do you consider Gordon Parks a street photographer or not? This is a crucial point to give the right value to every type of street photography that we can conceive.

The best (real) compact cameras for Street Photography in 2022
When it comes to Street Photography we ask cameras that are lightweight and portable, allowing to adjust settings in a easy way to make advanced photography, counting with a fast lens and effective autofocus. In this sense, nothing beats a compact. I mean: a real compact camera.

But the street…what is to me?
Reflections on a Saturday morning. I am here sitting in front of my computer, sipping a cup of coffee.

When a Street Photography workshop is a bad workshop?
Having been teaching photography for over ten years I believe I have some authority to write this.
