The popular neighborhood of Guerrero in Mexico City gives me a great gift wen I was busy in my project AMERICANA. And therefore it is a mural I keep photographing it.

You already know that I am using the 7Artisans 25mm f1.8 for my street photographs. And that will be until i sell the camera.

Street photography is a state of mind. And when a photograph manages to highlight it, I'm really happy.

Making the photography that I do is an absolutely different way from the one that counts with a more thoughtful approach. It certainly exposes me more to failure while on the street, but I accept it as part of the game.

While it is widely believed that street photography is somehow illegal, it is not. Even many photographers who don't take street photos have this perception that taking pictures without consent is at least unfair. The projection of this idea then becomes broader and more shared when they see a famous Bruce Gilden video in NYC.

Especially in this historical phase I try to make photography that is full of life. I want it as a photographer because I need it as a human being.

As anticipated yesterday, the first volume of THE RICOH FILES is now available as electronic and printed edition book.

This has been an extremely prolific month for me which also resulted in the launch of my new visual blog. I made a lot of photos and many of a good standard. Making a choice was not easy, but in the end I favored those that suggest some notes to share with you readers.
