I spent three years taking unexpected photographs. I made them in the heart of that project called AMERICANA which led me to exhibit my work for the first time in the center of Mexico City.

Something says me that I am seeing the birth of a new project…

There is no better approach than another.

I pass and I am called by a group of street guys. They greet me and I do the thumbs up so when one of them asks me for a photograph: una foto para el face!

I already know I can’t refuse.

Garry Winogrand said you can learn the technique in 2 hours, the difficult is to tell a story in a image. Of course, I agree.

Often it is in my head as I move through the streets…

I started the day off the bus and took this photo

I am pleased to announce the book Anuario de Fotografia de Calle Mexicana 2021 realized by the collective Observadores Urbanos is now available.

To tell the truth, I have never participated very actively in photographic competitions. There are photographers who participate in any land-based contest / award.

Here we go with the last best of the month selection for this year.

Such a great year I pushed myself in rough places, challenging my own comfort zone, leaving out old dynamics. By being out of a brand I am doing my own thing, without responding anymore to guidelines and rules. I purchased camera and lenses to respond only to my vision.

One of my favorite science fiction movies was filmed in Mexico City.

This ontological question often repeats itself in my thoughts. And the answer is never the same.

Do you want it nude? Do you want it erotic? Do you want it hot? Here you go with my printed books: of course they are available also in ebook edition, directly on the shop.

In the last days i received a request to give my permission to repost one of the posts published on this blog on the website Humanist Freedoms. And of course I accepted.

As an observer and photographer, as a writer and photography enthusiast, everything is always connected to humanity.

This blog has only 10 months, the first post was published on 1st March 2021. It is a young blog and in a few months it already has many important posts and statistics.

Many people ask me more about this project. I think is the moment to dedicate a post on this blog about the magazine I publish any month.

Street Photography is not just one. There are no fixed rules other than those that reflect the intention of the moment to solve the visual equation the moment a scene presents itself in front of you. Let's see three examples together.

I have often been asked about how I reconcile certain issues related to decay and crime with Street Photography.
